2011-12: Ford played one season at Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas, before USAO. There, she was named Conference Newcomer of the Year, All-Conference Second Team and Academic All-Conference.

2009-11: Ford spent two seasons at Eastern New Mexico University.

High School: Before college, Ford played for Frenship High School and was named All-District, All-City and All-South Plains.
