2011-12: Medrano played in all but one game of the season for the Drovers in her first year at the university. She led the team in blocks with 18 for the season. She had 65 rebounds and scored 46 points for the Drovers. One of her best games was against conference for Lubbock Christian, where she had a season-high six points  and six rebounds.

2009-11: Medrano played center for year years at Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton before joining the Drovers as a junior. There, she was named Academic All-Conference.

High School: Before college, Medrano played for Greenville High School in Texas. She is originally from Chihuahua, Mexico.

Major: Math/ Physical Education
