CHICKASHA – After leading a team to 10-7-1, two Drover women were named All-Conference First Team on Friday.
Annie Zoch and Taylor Fain earned the honors.
The sophomore midfielder helped make sure the Drovers had goals, netting nine herself and helping out with an additional 13 assists. She had two game-winning goals as well.
Fain is third in the conference and 15th in the division in assists per game. Additionally, she is No. 12 in the division in total assists.
Last season, Fain was named All-Conference Second Team.
Fain is a speech pathology major from Edmond. She is the daughter of Tim and Erica Fain.
Zoch, a defender from Mannford, Okla., played both defense and offense for the Drovers in 2010 and ended the season with eight goals for the Drovers.
She was able to quickly adjust from defense to forward when necessary, which made her an important asset to the evolving team.
This is the second time Zoch was named All-Conference First Team, having earned the same honor in 2008.
She is a business major and is the daughter of John Zoch and J.D. and Sherry Matlock.
