Drover women top the Chaps

CHICKASHA – The Drover women continue with best start in the program's history with another conference win on Saturday.

Junior Calli Cooper may have been the star of the show Saturday afternoon, scoring both of USAO’s goals in the 2-1 win over the Chaps.

She scored the first goal 10 minutes into the game to give the Drovers an early lead. Before the half was over, the Drovers gave up a goal and entered halftime tied....

Drovers edge the Pioneers

CHICKASHA – The Drovers battled tough against the Wayland Baptist Pioneers, pulling off a late win Thursday afternoon.

The women fought a tough game, dominating in shots (22-8) but battling for a goal. The game went scoreless for 75 minutes before Leslie Bross scored USAO’s only goal of the game off an assist by Taylor Fain.

Sophomore Addie Tipton had six saves in the game and earned her sixth shutout of the season....

In the Saddle — Kelli Korleski

CHICKASHA – Halfway through the soccer season, junior Kelli Korleski said the Drover women are on the path to success.

“I think we’re doing really well,” she said. “We’ve only lost two games, one that’s a conference game. It’s the best the women’s team has done so far. I think we’re headed for a good season.”

Drovers win another two at home

CHICKASHA – The Drover soccer teams continued both their home and their conference success with wins each against Mid-America Christian University on Tuesday afternoon.

The USAO women battled for much of the game, and the teams went into halftime scoreless. It wasn’t until the 57-minute mark when junior Calli Cooper whizzed a goal by MACU’s keeper.

Drovers to think pink on Saturday

CHICKASHA – USAO’s colors may be green and gold, but on Saturday against Lubbock Christian, the Drover soccer teams will take on a whole new shade.

USAO’s Colleges Against Cancer will be teaming up with the soccer programs to bring cancer awareness during Saturday’s soccer games. Women’s game kicks off at 1 p.m., and men kick off at 3 p.m.

CHICKASHA – Tuesday night, the Drover women knocked in another win, giving them one of the best starts in school history, and junior Jordyn Yates said it just comes down to the team chemistry.

CHICKASHA – On a rainy Friday afternoon, the Drovers delivered two wins over the Rams of Texas Wesleyan and showed that both Drover soccer teams would be forces to reckon with this season.
