CHICKASHA – After recording 24 saves in two games, Addie Lee was named the first Sooner Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week of the 2013 season.

CHICKASHA – A strong defensive battle and a late goal forces the Drovers fall in their season opener in double overtime.

The Drovers (0-1) fought a tough match against the University of Houston-Victoria (2-0) and kept the Jaguars in check defensively for most of the game.

CHICKASHA – Coach Jimmy Hampton has led the Drovers since soccer began and have brought both programs to top-notch teams that are recognized nationally — and this year is no exception.

The men, who were picked to top the Sooner Athletic Conference and start the season ranked in the Top 10 in the NAIA, Hampton said he thought their performance in a preseason scrimmage against a Top 15 team a great start.
