2011: Yates played in 19 games, starting in almost all of those as a junior. She scored the game-winning goal in overtime in a September game against Texas Wesleyan. It was her only shot of the game. Her other goal came a few weeks later to tie Oklahoma Christian in the 67th minute, a game the Drovers went on to win in overtime. Yates had assists against Saint Gregory’s and Southern Nazarene.

2010: As a sophomore, Yates started in every game of the season. She scored her first career goal against conference opponent Saint Gregory’s in October. In the same game, she also had an assist. Yates also helped out with assists in wins against Bethel College and Wayland Baptist.

2009: Yates played and started in every game her first season at USAO — and she was one of only four players to do so that year. While Yates didn’t score any goals for the Drovers, she was integral in helping defend the goal and keep the team on the attack.

High School: Yates was named All-District  Second Team her freshman and sophomore years at Midlothian High School and was named All-District First Team the following two years. All four years, she and her team were regional semi-finalists.
