USAO Regent Leslie Hudson

Retired physician and Oklahoma civic leader Dr. Leslie Hudson was named to the USAO Board of Regents by Gov. Brad Henry in 2008.

Dr. Hudson received her doctorate in epidemiology from the University of Oklahoma in 1990 and served as a faculty member in the College of Public Health until 2000. She continues her service with the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center as a member of the advisory boards of the College of Public Health and the OU Breast Health Institute.

Dr. Hudson has served as a trustee of the Oklahoma City Museum of Art since 1997, leading the board as president from 2004–2006. She is a trustee of Heritage Hall School in Oklahoma City and has recently been named a trustee of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation and a member of the board of directors of Allied Arts. She formally served on the board of Planned Parenthood of Central Oklahoma.

Dr. Hudson is married to Clifford Hudson, chairman of the board and CEO of Sonic Corporation. The Hudsons have two sons.
