She loves fall weather and football. She would love to be of help to you in your writing endeavors and is always excited to make new friends!
Lindsey Cathey
Lindsey is a senior English major pursuing a teaching certificate from USAO. She is almost always reading, thinking about reading, writing, or thinking about writing. When she’s not reading, she enjoys cross-stitching, singing at the top of her lungs, and watching movies. She fully believes Disney and Pixar movies are the best movies ever made. She is a cheery person, so feel free to stop by and see her anytime because she looks forward to meeting new people.
AJ Ferguson
Carly Ford
Carly is a graduating senior and is very excited to finally finish her undergrad work. She is an English Major. She is on the Accent committee this semester and looks forward to reading all of your lovely submissions, but she does not look forward to choosing which submissions will go in the magazine. In her very spare time she likes reading and writing and looking at the stars, wondering if they are looking back at her.
Jessica Fowler
Jessica is a Senior English major. She loves foreign films, her dogs, hiking, classic literature, fantasies, and dystopian fiction. She'd love to help you perfect your paper. Remember her name; you'll see it again on bookstore shelves.
Callie McCool
Callie is a second year history major here at USAO. She loves painting, poetry, and painting poetry, as well as watching movies, riding horses, and cooking. She is one of the newest additions in the writing lab, and is very excited for the opportunity to help students!
Mandi McRay
Mandi is an English Education major and looks forward to teaching teens about the greatness that both British and American Literature have to offer. She enjoys warm spring showers and cold fall drizzles, but loathes Oklahoma ice storms since prolonged power outages are rarely fun. Mandi looks forward to helping high school students work through the process of writing, so you'd be doing her a favor if you came by the Writing Center and gave her some practice. If you really want to make her happy to see you, wear purple!
DJ Nye
Jacky Tideman
Jacky is a Senior English Major that loves watching movies, reading, and listening to music – in other words, anything that can be done sitting down. She has no idea what she wants to do, but thinks screen-writing or editing could be alright. She likes to read the submissions to the Accent, of which she is a co-editor. Somehow inexplicably managing to be both lively and lazy, she thrives on helping people and human interaction, so feel free to brighten her shift by stopping by to discuss your paper!
