Bruce Renfroe is excited to join the Drover Athletic staff as Head Women’s Golf Coach. Bruce grew up in the north suburbs of Chicago and attended Adlai Stevenson High School. He has a BS in History from Illinois State Unversity (1984) and an MS in Educational Technology from the University of Oklahoma (1995.) Bruce has been the boy’s golf coach at Norman High School since 2002 and has also coached the girl’s team since 2014. He currently in his 34th year teaching high school social studies. An avid student of golf coaching, Bruce is constantly seeking to become a more knowledgable golf coach.
Bruce has been married to Karen Baker Renfroe since 1986 and they have two adult children Jack and Ally. Karen is Associate Vice-President of OU Advancement at the University of Oklahoma. Jack, a physical therapist, is married to Lauren Lundeen Renfroe and lives in NYC. Ally is engaged to Justin Lindner and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Atlanta, Georgia.
