Devon joined the faculty of USAO as an assistant professor in 2019. Prior to his appointment here, he taught mathematics at OCCC, UCO, and OU. After receiving his B.A. and M.S. in Mathematics, he became interested in problems of teaching mathematics and pursued his Ph.D. in Instructional Leadership and Academic Curriculum at OU. His research interests include: Inquiry and problem-based learning in mathematics, Secondary–tertiary transition for students in mathematics, and beliefs and identity of mathematics faculty at post-secondary institutions.
