The USAO Showband will celebrate the legacy of Motown in an upcoming concert scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. on April 12 in Te Ata Memorial Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.

The Concert Wind Ensemble and the Key Players rock ensemble are scheduled to team up for a joint concert under the direction of Dr. Dan Hanson at 7:30 p.m. on April 11 in Te Ata Memorial Auditorium at the University of Science and Arts.
Musician Dylan Nagode will present his senior recital beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 6 in the USAO Alumni Chapel. A multi-instrumentalist from Blanchard, Nagode will be performing pieces by Fernando Carulli and Charles Mingus as well as original compositions on classical and electric guitar. The recital will feature a presentation about Indian classical music and a performance on the sitar. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 574-1293.
Composer Adam Bryant presents his senior recital beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 12 in the USAO Alumni Chapel. Bryant, a native of Tuttle, will debut 15 original compositions for a variety of instruments including solo piano, guitar and choir. Guest performers include Jessie Moore, Emily Harrison, the USAO Chamber Choir and Dr. Stephen Weber among others. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 574-1293.

Music students will benefit from the experience of their predecessors as four alumni return for the first Music Career Day scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 11 in Room 124 of Davis Hall.
The USAO music department will show off two of its three new ensembles — a woodwind ensemble and a specialized percussion group — along with the USAO Concert Band at an upcoming performance scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 27 in Te Ata Memorial Auditorium.
