Congratulations, USAO Graduates of Spring 2014!
USAO will host two graduation ceremonies, one at 6 p.m. and one at 8 p.m., to host all of the university’s more than 115 graduates.
USAO Board of Regents Chairwoman Hilary Kitz will address the class in each ceremony, with comments and introduction by USAO President John Feaver. Dexter Marble, vice present for academic affairs, will present the graduating class.
The first ceremony will feature students graduating with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees as well as some students who earned their Bachelor of Science degrees. A total of 39 graduates will be receiving their Bachelor of Art and seven will be receiving their Bachelor of Fine Arts. Additionally, 11 Bachelor of Science candidates will graduate in the 6 p.m. ceremony.
In the second ceremony, 58 recipients will receive their Bachelor of Science and one will receive a Bachelor of Art degree.
Each ceremony also will feature a special music performance. The 6 p.m. performance features music major Oscar Hernandez and music department accompanist Rhenada Finch performing “The Impossible Dream” from The Man of La Mancha by Mitch Leigh.
The 8 p.m. performance will feature music major Olen Cox and Finch performing “Romance” by Ronlad Binge.
