Matching Gifts

Many employers will match charitable gifts made by employees and their spouses, board members, and retirees. A matching gift can double – and in some cases triple – the impact of your gift.

To find out if your organization has a matching gift policy, please check with the human resources office of your organization. If your company offers matching gifts, please obtain and fill out the appropriate company documents and send it to:

USAO Foundation

Payroll Deduction

USAO employees can make charitable donations to the university by payroll deduction. To enroll, please visit the University Advancement office, 106 Troutt Hall.

No matter why you choose to make a gift to USAO, your generosity is greatly appreciated. Contributions have an immediate and profound impact on students, faculty, staff, and programs.

Unrestricted Gifts

USAO General Fund is the primary vehicle of support to the university. It enables USAO’s leaders the flexibility to meet a variety of needs.

Directed Gifts

You may choose to designate your gift to a specific school or program, scholarship, or priority area at the university. When you make a directed gift to USAO, you enjoy the satisfaction of knowing your gift is supporting a program that is personally meaningful for you.

Endowments are the gifts that keep on giving. An endowed fund is a permanent, self-sustaining source of funding. Endowment assets are invested, and each year, the interest generated from the fund is used to support the fund’s purpose. When you establish an endowment, you create a permanent legacy of support for USAO.

Bequests enable you to leave your legacy to benefit USAO in your will. By making your bequest intent known in advance, we can plan for the future and recognize your generosity during your lifetime.
