Becky Graham was born on November 5, 1916 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Guy Spencer Mitchell and Rebecca Ruth Dickerson and went to be with our Lord on May 15, 2012 in Plano, Texas at the age of 95 years.
She graduated from Wynnewood High School in 1934 and attended Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Linda Graham Miller, her son Mike Graham and his wife Peggy Graham. Becky is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Bill Laney of Plano, Texas, her grandchildren, Magan Graham of Norman, Oklahoma, Spencer Graham of Madison, Wisconsin, Michelle Laney of Dallas, Texas, John Laney and wife Jeri Laney of McKinney, Texas, and Micah Laney and wife Marisa Laney of Mesquite, Texas.
She was the proud great-grandmother to Jacob Laney and Makenzie Laney and honorary great-grandmother to Taylor Jones. She also leaves her beloved nieces, nephews, and many close friends who made her life so special.
She worked for many years in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, for Deep Rock Oil Company, and was transferred to Oklahoma City in 1960 where she worked for Kerr-McGee Corporation for over 25 years as a payroll clerk.
She was a member of the Desk & Derrick Club in Wynnewood, Oklahoma.
She was appointed to the Del City Housing Authority Board in 1987 and served on the Tenant Committee for Orval Ray Towers in Del City.
She was a member of the Sunny Lane United Methodist Church in Del City, Oklahoma, Sunny Lane United Methodist Women, and served as an officer for the United Methodist Women Oklahoma City South District.
Becky was a Tribal Member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Services will be held at Sunny Lane United Methodist Church, 2020 S. Sunnylane Road, Del City, Oklahoma, on Monday, May 21, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with burial following at 2:00 p.m. at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood, Oklahoma.
