ENID, Okla. - The service honoring the life of Mary Ann Lovell, 93, of Enid, Okla., will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Andrew Long officiating. Private family graveside will precede the service in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. She was born June 14, 1920, to Roy Virgil and Ethel Lee Johnson Eddleman in Enid, the first of three children, and passed away on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014, in Enid. She attended Enid schools and graduated from Enid High School in 1937. Phillips University and the Oklahoma College for Women were her next educational institutions. On Dec. 17, 1939, she married Wilbur C. Clark and moved to a farm north of Goltry. Two children were born to them, Steven C. and Stuart Mark. She moved to Enid in 1958. She later received a B.S. and M.Ed. from Phillips University and taught in the Enid school system. She also was a school counselor. She married William Otjen Jr. in 1978. He died in 1984. She later married John C. Lovell in 1994. He died in 2005. She enjoyed traveling, was an avid reader, gardening, the outdoors, and being with her family. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Chapter Q of PEO. She is survived by her son, Steven Clark and wife Jill of Goltry; stepsons, Jim and wife Kay Lovell of Castle Rock, Colo., and Doug and wife Julie Lovell of Enid; sister, Patsy Holden of Enid; grandchildren, Tony Fothergill and wife Keri of Sand Springs, Stephanie Clark of Dallas, Chad Clark of Wichita; three great-grandchildren, Bailey Fothergill, Cason Clark and Callee Clark. She was preceded in death by one son, Stuart Mark Clark, and one brother, Bob Eddleman. Memorials may be given to First Presbyterian Church or Enid Food Bank, with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds. Condolences online at
