NIDELL, Millie A. (Thurman)
Millie Anna Thurman Nidell was born November 22, 1926 in Roosevelt, Oklahoma the daughter of George Earl and Laura Bell (Hall) Thurman. She completed this life on March 6, 2013 in Oklahoma City's Lackey Manor at the age of 86.
Millie attended Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha, Oklahoma before completing a Master's degree in Education at Central State University in Edmond. She was a school teacher in the Oklahoma City Public Schools prior to moving to Lake Eufaula where she lived for almost forty years.
She was both a bipolar and four-time cancer survivor. She is survived by her son, Tod Hardin and his wife Leslie of OKC; her step-daughters, Diane Snider and husband Ray of Tulsa and Linda Raybern and husband David of Tucson, AZ; her granddaughter, Katie Hardin of OKC; her step-grandchildren Brian Snider of Tulsa, Renae Ferguson of Broken Arrow, and Erik Hill of Norman.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Yvonne Nidell. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 9th, at Baptist Village Lackey Manor. Memorials may be made to: Baptist Village, 9700 Mashburn Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK 73162.
