She was born July 27, 1918, at the home of her parents, Noah Gibson Holt and Anna Pauley Holt, on their farm near Cloud Chief, OK. Nettie was the youngest of 12 siblings. She attended school at Cloud Chief and graduated from Cordell High School.

The second oldest of 4 children, Ruth moved with her family to Henryetta, Oklahoma when she was a senior in high school. She graduated from Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Elizabeth (Betty) Ann Stripling, aged 91, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2015 in the Little Rose Nursing Home in Albuquerque, where she had been a resident for the past 18 months.
MASSEY--Laine H. Stearns February 5, 1938 - June 4, 2015. A longtime resident of Manhattan's Greenwich Village and later Washington Heights neighborhoods, Laine was born in May, Oklahoma, daughter of Ruth (nee Lloyd) and William Marshall Harrison. She moved to New York City shortly after graduating from Oklahoma College for Women and never considered leaving.
Josephine Joy Chastain Emanuel passed away on May 24, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 1, 2015 at the Quality Inn in Chickasha, Oklahoma with Bill Lockwood officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Lilas Heitzman died peacefully Sunday morning, June 14, 2015. Lilas was born Aug. 31, 1926, on a homestead near El Reno to Charlie and Lottie Stejskal, first generation Czech farmers. After she attended a one-room school, Lone Star District 43, her father rented a house in Yukon so that she and her older sister, Bea could attend Yukon High School.
