A biology student earned a third place nod for her research after presenting it at the capitol as part of a statewide effort to showcase scholarship.

Bailey Vinsant, junior biology and natural science major from Morris, presented at the state capitol in late March as part of the Oklahoma Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (OK EPSCoR).

Summer reading program for kids begins June 9

Upper level education majors will tutor area elementary students in reading for eight weeks this summer. Students who have completed kindergarten through seventh grade are eligible for the free service.

The reading tutoring is free to the public.  Registration for the summer reading program is now available. Space is limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
