USAO extends invitation to St. Gregory’s students

In light of the recent suspension of operations at St. Gregory’s University, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma welcomes fellow students in the liberal arts with open arms.

“We recognize that the present moment is a difficult time for everyone affiliated with St. Gregory’s,” said President John Feaver. “As institutions sharing the same educational values, we are reaching out to all St. Gregory’s students to let them know that they can continue their growth as young scholars preparing to be the future leaders of our world at USAO.”

Along with offering a rigorous yet affordable liberal arts education, USAO’s admissions and financial aid offices are prepared to make the transition as painless as possible for any student interested in attending the university. To ensure all students can afford the education they deserve, USAO’s financial aid office has dozens of scholarships available, including several specifically for transfer students.

Both USAO and St. Gregory’s share the same mission of providing a liberal arts education that emphasizes critical thinking and an interdisciplinary approach to problem solving. USAO receives frequent recognition for both its affordability and the quality education it provides. In 2017, Washington Monthly ranked USAO fifth overall in its list of the 100 Best Bang for the Buck colleges and universities in the southern states as well as 73rd among liberal arts colleges nationwide.
