After hitting four home runs against No. 14 Wayland Baptist this weekend, it’s no wonder Conner Bridgman was named Sooner Athletic Conference Player of the Week.
Bridgman, of Bow, Wash., hit four home runs against WBU over the weekend, leading the Drovers to a 2-1 win in the series. During those three games, he had five runs and batted nine runners in.
The outfielder played four of the Drovers’ five games last week, hitting .462 with a 1.385 slugging percentage.
During the season, he averages .429 at bat and has scored 16 runs for USAO, helping the Drovers to a 14-3 overall record. He’s hit three doubles, a triple and seven home runs.
Bridgman, a business management junior, is No. 5 in the division in total home runs.
He is the son of Bob Bridgman and Carol Pierce.
