The Drovers pulled off two more non-conference victories on Tuesday afternoon against Friends University.

Third baseman Cody Bridgman had two for two and had one run and one RBI to help lead USAO to a 5-1 win in the first game. Regulo Moy had two for three with three RBIs.

Freshman Tyler Porter gave up only two hits and had four strikeouts in his 4.2 innings on the mound, but it was Alfonso Cardenas who got the win after coming in during the fifth.

The Drovers had no errors in the first game.

USAO followed the first game with a quick 9-0 lead by the end of the second inning of the second game.

Greg Ylda hit two of three with two runs and an RBI during the game, helping the Drovers win 10-4. Moy continued his strong hitting, going three for three with two runs. Cody Bridgman had two runs and an RBI in his two times at bat.

Pitcher Derek Wilkerson got the save, coming in for the last two innings. He had four strikeouts and didn’t allow any hits.

The Drovers have a 12-2 record overall. They take on Wayland Baptist next on Friday afternoon at the Bill Smith Ballpark.
