CHICKASHA – In the first game of the series, the Drovers crossed the base nine times and overtook the Mount Mercy University Mustangs 9-1 on Friday afternoon at Bill Smith Ballpark.

Junior Andy Greenslitt pitched nearly six innings for the Drovers. While on the mound, he threw three strikeouts.

Junior Brandon Jewett scored two runs and batted two runners in off his three hits on Friday afternoon.

Right fielder Conner Bridgman scored a run and had two RBI while Romus Cezar crossed the plate twice more and brought in another two runners.

The Drovers extend their winning-streak and advance to 7-1 overall. They finish the series against Mount Mercy in a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at noon.
