Twelve runs later, the Drovers pull off the series win over No. 14 Wayland Baptist with a Saturday afternoon 12-8 win.

Center fielder Conner Bridgman hit his fourth home run of the series — and seventh in the season — during Saturday’s game. In his five times at bat, he had two hits, two runs and four RBIs on Saturday.

Catcher David Masters hit two doubles and a single, batting two runners in. Masters, who was injured during the Lubbock Christian series, had pinch runner Skyler Foster running for him. Foster scored two runs.

Regulo Moy hit three of four with a double, two runs and two RBIs, and R.J. Nieto batted .500 with a double, a run and an RBI in just his second start of the season.

Greg Ylda, who led off for the Drovers on Saturday, hit three of four with two runs.

Pitcher Caleb Martin spent more than six innings on the mound, throwing nine strikeouts and earning his third win of the season.

The Drovers bump up to 14-3 overall and 3-3 in the conference.

The Drovers head to the city to take on No. 3 Oklahoma City for a single game at 2 p.m. Thursday, and then finish the series at home with a double header beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday.
