Senior first baseman Luke Krobath helped the Drovers to 4-0 record last week and was named Sooner Athletic Conference Player of the Week for his efforts.

Krobath, a physical education senior from Langley, British Columbia, hit an average of .583 in the Drovers four games. He hit two home runs and two doubles, while batting eight runners in. He added six runs and put out 29 players in the Drovers’ last four games.

USAO played two double headers — one against Sterling College and one against Mount Mercy College — during the week, bringing the team’s overall record to 9-0. The team opens conference play this weekend against No. 1 Lubbock Christian.

During the whole season, Krobath averages .500 at bat, with five doubles, a triple, three home runs and 20 RBIs.

He is the son of George and Colleen Krobath.
