CHICKASHA – Coming off a big win on Thursday over a ranked team, the Drovers were unable to maintain that momentum facing another Top 25 opponent, No. 19 Saint Gregory’s.
In the Saturday evening game, the Cavaliers (11-1, 2-1) outscored the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma 97-79 in the Drovers’ first conference home game.
The Drovers (4-6, 1-2) had three players scoring in the double digits in the game, led by Jahseth Lloyd, who had 24 points and seven rebounds. This is Lloyd’s second game in a row with at least 20 points.
Tyler Reynolds, a senior from Oregon, had 21 points, five rebounds and three assists while Donnie Brown scored 10 for the Drovers.
Anthony Bolton was the Drovers’ highest rebounder, grabbing 10 rebounds and eight points in Saturday’s game.
For the game, the Drovers shot nearly 44 percent from the field.
The Drovers will return to action at home against Northwood University on Thursday night. Tip off is scheduled for 8 p.m. The game’s sponsor is Arvest Bank.
