CHICKASHA – In a tough conference opener, the Drovers fall to the Oklahoma City Stars on Thursday night at the USAO Fieldhouse.
The Drover men continue to prove their athleticism this year but were unable to overcome the Stars, who won the game 75-64.
After falling behind in the first half, the Drovers brought the game back within six but were unable to keep the lead.
Javier Ramos was the Drovers’ leading scorer with 19 in the game. Close behind him was Kyle Hunt, who had 18 points. Norris Rumph had another 16 for the Drovers. Rumph was also the team’s leading rebounder and grabbed eight total rebounds.
The men move on to 4-3 overall. They will take on Mid-America Christian at home at 5 p.m. Saturday.
