CHICKASHA – Continuing their conference success, the Drovers grabbed another win Saturday afternoon against Lubbock Christian to remain undefeated in the Sooner Athletic Conference.

The men came out strong against the Chaps. Perry Sansford scored USAO’s first goal just 24 minutes in to the game off an assist by Kalokwera Okot.

USAO entered halftime up 1-0. After 20 minutes of battle in the second half, sophomore Scott Parkinson knocked in a second Drover goal off an assist by Niall Crick.

The Drovers won the game 2-0.

Bryan Byars, who earned the shutout in the match, had two saves in the game.

USAO becomes 10-3 overall and remain undefeated in the conference at 6-0.

It was USAO’s first ever Pink Game. Players and fans alike wore pink to show support for cancer awareness.

The Drovers finish their home stand on Tuesday against Rogers State. Game begins at 3 p.m.
