CHICKASHA — The Drover softball team grabbed a fourth win in the Festival in February tournament in Chickasha with a 7-2 victory over Sterling College.
In the Saturday game, the Drovers struck first with runs by Chelsea Zuchnik, Katie Jirak, Ashley Mitchell and Liz Agpalo.
Jirak had a second run in the next inning, followed by USAO’s next two batters — Skyler Nichols and Markie LaFerney.
Neesha Sorrell pitched the entire seven innings, throwing 10 strikeouts.
The Drovers won the game 7-2 and now have a 7-4 overall record. They take on East Central on Tuesday afternoon in Ada before leaving for the Friends University tournament next weekend.
