CHICKASHA – No. 10 Oklahoma City was too much for the young Drovers, who fell to the Stars in both games of the Thursday afternoon doubleheader at Bill Smith Ballpark.

CHICKASHA – After throwing a no-hitter, three shutouts and 36 strikeouts last week, true freshman Neesha Sorrell was named Sooner Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week.

CHICKASHA – Junior pitcher Liz Agpalo helped lead the Drovers to a win over the No. 5 Lubbock Christian Lady Chaps with a good game in the circle and at the plate.

CHICKASHA – The USAO Drover softball team had a tough time against NCAA Division II opponent East Central on Tuesday afternoon at Bill Smith Ballpark.

USAO's away baseball game against Oklahoma Baptist will be played at 4 p.m. Wednesday, instead of Thursday, as previously scheduled.

CHICKASHA – The Drover women defeated the Oklahoma Christian Eagles twice in the Drovers’ opening doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon at the Bill Smith Ballpark.

CHICKASHA – A team complete with eight freshman and only three seniors, the 2011 Drover softball women must be ready to compete at the tough Sooner Athletic Conference level.

In addition to softball schedule changes, recent snowfall has led to a postponement of USAO’s weekend baseball games. The Drovers will now take on Bethany College on Monday for a doubleheader beginning at noon.

CHICKASHA – USAO Baseball and Softball alumni gathered for a late-summer reunion, to share in food, laughter and friendly competition.
