CHICKASHA – Drover pitcher Summer Leitka was named the NAIA National Softball Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday after a strong performance in the circle last week.

CHICKASHA – Seven wins and 63 strikeouts later, Summer Leitka was chosen as the Sooner Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week on Monday, making it her fifth week this season — and second in a row — to earn the honor.

FORT WORTH, Texas – It was a close battle until the top of the sixth when the Drovers would put up five runs to take the lead for good and grab Head Coach Jadyn Wallis’ 100th career win.

WAXAHACHIE, Texas – In the last few days of the regular season, the Drovers have four straight days of road doubleheaders and started it off with a bang by collecting two wins against the Southwestern Assemblies of God (7-31, 3-23).

CHICKASHA – Breaking records and taking trips to the national tournament are goals for student-athletes at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, but the larger, more important ambition of our student-athletes is the bachelor’s degree.

CHICKASHA– In a doubleheader that was supposed to be played at Mid-America Christian (22-16, 10-12), the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (34-7, 17-3) shut out the Evangels in both games to win all four against the Evangels this season.

CHICKASHA – After shutting out No. 1 Oklahoma City, Drover pitcher Summer Leitka earned Sooner Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week honors.

CHICKASHA – It was a perfect Senior Day for the Drovers as they topped Southwestern Christian in both games of the doubleheader, all while finding themselves in the NAIA Top 15 and watching senior catcher Kayla Adams set a new school record.

CHICKASHA – The Drovers handed the No. 1 Oklahoma City Stars their second loss and first shutout of the season in game one of Saturday’s doubleheader, which was the annual Pink Out Cancer series for the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.

CHICKASHA – Kayla Adams tied a school record when she hit a three-RBI homer to left field in the first of two games on the road Thursday evening at Oklahoma Baptist.
