CHICKASHA – Coming from a family of 13, Tabby Bailey is used to working in a team.
Now a junior at USAO, Bailey is the youngest girl and the ninth in an 11-child family.
“I felt kind of special,” she said. “I was Daddy’s girl. I had two brothers under me.”
Straight out of high school in Tulsa, Bailey played for Coach Laci Tompkins at Redlands Community College and followed her coach to USAO this season.
“She was a very Christian lady. She loves basketball. She puts everything she has in it,” Bailey said. “She really has a winning mentality.”
Bailey is on schedule to graduate with an elementary education degree in April of 2012.
