CHICKASHA – The Drover women had a tough time against the Southern Nazarene Crimson Storm, who remain undefeated in the Sooner Athletic Conference.
After giving up two quick goals, the Drovers responded with two goals in eight minutes to tie to the game before halftime. Both goals were by Calli Cooper and Taylor Fain earned her 30th career assist on one of those.
Unfortunately for USAO, Southern Nazarene squeaked by another goal to defeat the Drovers 3-2.
The women move to 12-4 overall and 7-3 in conference play.
It was Senior Day at Drover Pitch and eight seniors were honored: Emily Stevenson, Gabby Barros, Taylor Fain, Annie Zoch, Nikki Thomas, Lexxa Kever, Jessie Jones and Leslie Bross.
The Drovers head to Oklahoma City to finish off the regular season on Friday evening beginning at 5 p.m.
