CHICKASHA – Head coach Jimmy Hampton has been reunited with a former player, and USAO signed one of the top offensive players in the state. Tulsa transfer Taylor Fain signed a letter of intent to play for the Drovers Thursday giving the team another young scoring threat.

Fain earned all-state honorable mention as a senior at Edmond North in 2008. She scored six goals with 11 assists before suffering a season-ending injury that caused her to redshirt last season at TU. She was a part of two state runner-up teams and a state semifinalist team at Edmond North. “She will bring a size and speed dynamic that we’ve not had here in 10 years,” Hampton said about the forward he has coached since she was eight years old. “I just expect Taylor to score a ton of goals in her career here. She is dangerous and going to be very difficult for people to matchup against.” As a member of Hampton’s Edmond Soccer Club 90 Black Club team, Fain helped win two Three vs. Three Championships, two National Indoor Championships, seven state championships, two USYSA Regional titles and two USYSA National Final appearances. ###
