CHICKASHA – A Drover rally just came too late on Saturday afternoon as the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma dropped to Texas Wesleyan 2-1.

In a game that was a stalemate until nearly 70 minutes in, the Lady Rams (9-2-2, 3-2-1) found a way to top the Drovers (2-9, 1-4) in the end.

TWU’s Lauren Kee scored both for the Lady Rams, sliding them through the left side of the goal.

Trailing 2-0, USAO was able to answer one of those goals with a direct pass by Ryah Vyse to Linda Addo, who knocked one in with less than 10 minutes in the game.

The Drovers were not able to recover the deficit and fell 2-1.

USAO outshot TWU 16-13 for the game. Junior goalkeeper Addie Lee had five saves in the game.

The Drovers travel to Mid-America Christian on Tuesday afternoon for a game set for 1 p.m. Their next home game will be at 1 p.m. next Saturday against Southwestern Christian.
