The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma’s art department will host a pair of lectures focusing on how to make a living as a working artist on Wednesday, March 22, at 9:05 a.m. in Davis Hall Room 124 on the USAO campus. The event will feature recent USAO graduates Wendy Chambers and Kerye Hartzell who will how they have turned their education into a career.
The USAO Art Department will host an invitational exhibition featuring works created by Oklahoma College for Women, Oklahoma College of Liberal Arts and USAO art alumni. The department will host an opening reception at 7 p.m. in the 3rd Floor Gallery in Davis Hall. The exhibition will be on display through Nov. 17. Refreshments will be served.
The event is free and open to the public.
Art Club is seeking submissions and proposals for the first annual art exhibition, Multiplicity, which will be held April 13 from 7 to 9 pm in Station 82.
Students from any major can submit work for the show. Multiplicity embraces diversity in the collection of works and represents the idea of bringing many forms of art together.
March 28 to April 1, Art Club will be set up daily on the first floor of Davis Hall by the elevator to receive all submissions and proposals.
