Biography
Dr. Nicholas Boyde joined USAO in 2018 after having served a one-year teaching position at Juniata College. Dr. Boyde was promoted to Associate Professor in the spring of 2023.
In chemistry research, the major emphasis has been on small molecule synthetic inorganic chemistry utilizing air-sensitive techniques. The other major focus is on chemical education and best practices within the discipline.
Dr. Boyde has been active on campus through university committees and faculty sponsor to clubs and activities.
