The University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma will host its 30th annual Droverstock Music festival on April 3rd, transforming the campus Oval into a vibrant hub of live music, family activities and community vendors. The free event is open to the public and features a diverse lineup of regional and student performers.

The 2026 festival kicks off at 5:15 p.m. and offers a full evening of entertainment, including a rock-climbing wall, mechanical bull, and a variety of local food trucks and other family activities. Visitors can also explore booths hosted by USAO student clubs and organizations.

“I am beyond excited for the Droverstock lineup this year.” Said Cameron Roberts, USAO’s Director of Student Life and the organizer of Droverstock. “Bringing Chase McDaniel to campus marks the biggest musical act we’ve hosted yet, and we anticipate an incredible crowd of both students and community members. We’ve made a strong effort this year to emphasize that Droverstock isn’t just a campus event—it’s a celebration for the entire community. From great music to a fun festival atmosphere, there’s something for everyone. I hope people from across campus and Chickasha come out and experience all the great things Droverstock has to offer.”

The main stage will feature a continuous rotation of musical acts:

  • 5:15 p.m. – Degrees of Freedom: The evening begins with a folk duo; two former USAO professors come together to form this Chickasha-founded cover band, performing iconic songs we all know and love.
  • 6:00 p.m. – isaiah!: Multi-instrumentalist and visual artist Isaiah Young brings an avant-garde flair to the stage. Young is known for his award-winning track "dnd" and a style influenced by textures ranging from Björk to moshable rock.
  • 6:45 p.m. – Gage Wilkerson & the Young Guns: This Oklahoma-based singer-songwriter delivers a raw sound rooted in the traditions of Red Dirt and outlaw country.
  • 7:30 p.m. – Toliver Rey: Introducing his signature "Variety Country" brand, Rey blends Country Rock, Modern, and Red Dirt influences to ensure a performance with "several flavors" of the genre.
  • 8:30 p.m. – Adara Kay: Self-described as "Y’allternative," this five-piece band combines Southern Rock with a splash of country, delivering a stage presence defined by grit and energy.
  • 9:45 p.m. – Chase McDaniel: Headlining the night, Nashville-based singer-songwriter Chase McDaniel brings his signature rock/country hybrid. Known for his edgy swagger and honest lyrics, McDaniel’s set explores life’s misadventures with humor and heart.

All Droverstock activities and performances are free of charge. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating on the Oval.
