Willowbrook Construction surprises USAO with dual 50-year milestone celebration

Willowbrook Construction Services surprised the University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma today with a cake celebrating both the company’s 50-year anniversary and the university’s upcoming 50th anniversary of its renaming from the Oklahoma College of Liberal Arts.
“It’s incredible to see how this partnership has grown over the years,” said USAO President Kayla Hale. “We are proud to have Willowbrook as part of our history, and we’re excited to celebrate these milestones together.”
Founded in 1974 by Cary DeHart, Willowbrook’s first project was the renovation of USAO’s Troutt Hall. Since then, the company has completed a dozen projects on campus and takes pride in its longstanding connection with USAO. Willowbrook has grown to become a leader in construction management, with 71% of its projects focused on educational institutions across Oklahoma.
As part of this strong relationship, Willowbrook is also a key supporter of USAO’s upcoming Homecoming. The company will serve as the presenting sponsor for the university’s “Golden Era” celebration, Nov. 1-3, which will commemorate 50 years since the institution’s renaming. Alumni, students, and friends are invited to join in marking this historic occasion.
