Dr. Null, Elsie 1985

A well-known business and economics expert writer, Dr. Elsie Null received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1938 from Oklahoma College for Women. She received a Master of Science degree from Oklahoma State University and completed her doctoral program at the University of Oklahoma. Her advanced studies included work at Southern Methodist University and at the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Null was business and mathematics instructor at Marshall for the first five years following her OCW graduation. She then returned to Chickasha to teach in the Business and Economics department of her alma mater. She remained on the staff through 1981, with 21 of her 38 years served as chairman of the department. She served as the chairman of the Delta Kappa Gamma International research committee and published numerous magazine articles for Business Education publications. She was active outside of the classroom as well, serving as the consultant for the Family Finance Workshops at the University of Oklahoma for three years. She was project director for "Project North American" for Delta Kappa Gamma. She served as president of the local and state Delta Kappa Gamma and served on its foundation and International Board of Trustees.
