Legacy Starts Here: Homecoming 2026
The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma welcomes alumni, faculty, and staff back to campus for Homecoming 2026: Legacy Starts Here, scheduled for November 6th-7th, 2026.
This year’s homecoming theme celebrates the generations of Drovers who have built the traditions, relationships, and experiences that define USAO today. The weekend offers a chance for alumni to reconnect with classmates, professors, favorite campus spots, and the institution that helped shaped their stories.
“Homecoming has always been about coming back to the place and people who helped shape your story,” said Whitney Palesano, Director of Alumni Relations and USAO Foundation Operations. “That is what ‘Legacy Starts Here’ means to me. Every generation of OCW, OCLA, and USAO alumni has contributed something to the university that we know today. Homecoming gives us the opportunity to honor that history, reconnect with one another, and celebrate the legacy that continues with every new generation of Drovers.
In addition to traditional events, Homecoming 2026 highlights the ongoing evolution of campus through dedicated moments to celebrate USAO’s continuing story, including the Feaver Commons Dedication and the Willard Hall Rededication. The weekend will also highlight the return of Family Weekend, where the Chickasha community is invited to take part in a specially dedicated luncheon; along with food trucks and several different vendors to shop from.
The two-day line up consists of a tour of USAO’s historic Addams Hall, several art exhibitions, the annual Alumni Hall of Fame Honors Dinner, evening entertainment, family activities, events, and more.
Families can also take part in Shop for Tuition, visiting participating Chickasha businesses to win $200, $300, or even $500 towards spring tuition.
Whether it has been a few years or several decades since walking across the stage, USAO encourages all alumni to return see what has changed, revisit familiar favorites, and celebrate their shared heritage.
