Homecoming 2022: Getting in Sync
MIGHT SOUND CRAZY BUT IT AIN’T NO LIE, Homecoming Weekend is November 4-6 this year and we WANT YOU BACK. THIS I PROMISE YOU—it will be a great time connecting with friends old and new. If you JUST GOT PAID, register now—YOU GOT IT. It will BE GOOD FOR YOU!
Those wanting to start the party early can join us at the Alumni Chapel for the Davis Waldorf series at 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 3 featuring the dynamic father and son piano duo Ryan & Ryan. Their concert performance titled “Kickin’ the Clouds Away” will feature a rousing mix of music originating from the African American tradition, including jazz, ragtime, classical, and gospel. Donald and Barron Ryan’s innovative piano playing acumen will provide an engaging experience to jump-start Homecoming weekend.
We will kick off the weekend in earnest with registration from 4-6 p.m. at the Canadian River Brewing Company in downtown Chickasha. The first drink is on us as we gather with old friends and catch up on all that has transpired since last we met.
We will celebrate the 25th season of soccer (this year’s 90’s themed Homecoming is a nod to them), the 2002 Women’s Basketball Final Four team, the 50th anniversary of the Class of 1972, and all members of the Science & Arts family from every graduating class during our Scholarship Recognition and Awards Brunch on Saturday, November 5th at 9:00 a.m. in the Ballroom. Brunch includes our induction ceremony for the Alumni Hall of Fame and Young Alumni Award as well as scholarship recognition, so be sure to join us for this fun-filled event!
We hope you are as excited as we are to have you back on campus! Please register by Friday, October 28th. Full weekend registration is $50 and includes a university swagbag, Friday night and Saturday afternoon drink tickets, Saturday brunch and Saturday afternoon food truck tickets. Brunch-only registration is $30.

A silent disco is an event where people dance to music listened to on wireless headphones. Rather than using a speaker system, music is broadcast via a radio transmitter with the signal being picked up by wireless headphone receivers worn by the participants. Those without the headphones hear no music, giving the effect of a room full of people dancing to nothing.
