Biography
Shaylee Chester is an instructor of education for the School of Education and Speech-Language Pathology. Prior to joining the USAO faculty she worked as the Director for the Child Development Center and at Title 1 public schools in Oklahoma, teaching both third and pre-kindergarten grade levels.
She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Instructional Leadership and Academic Curriculum in Early Childhood Education from the University of Oklahoma.
Research, Presentations & Publications
Shaylee's research focuses on the development of young children. Brain development, diverse measures, and socioeconomic status are among the many focuses of which contribute to this development.
