Informational Meeting Planned June 22 For USAO Europe Tour


The public is invited to join USAO faculty, staff and students for a 10-day tour of Switzerland, Italy and France May 17-27, 2011. An informational meeting is scheduled June 22 at 7 p.m. at Eduardo's South of the Border Cafe -- 1304 Highway 81 North in Chickasha. Free appetizers and soft drinks are included in the planning meeting.

For 10 days in May 2011, the University of Science and Arts is offering a tour of Switzerland, Italy and France. College faculty, staff, students and the public are invited to be a part of this tour.

 

The tour is scheduled May 17-27, 2011. For those interested in the tour, an informational meeting is scheduled June 22 at 7 p.m. at Eduardo's South of the Border Cafe -- 1304 Highway 81 North in Chickasha. Free appetizers and soft drinks are included in the planning meeting.

Tour Details

"This will be a great trip, not only for USAO people, but for anyone interested in European culture and history," Bohannon said. "Even if you cannot attend the planning meeting, contact me if you are interested in this opportunity."

 

The tour includes round-trip airfare; bus transfers; hotels; dinners; an EF full-time tour director and sightseeing tours of Venice, the Vatican City, Rome, Florence, Lucerne, Monaco and Eze.

 

The tour also includes 10 visits to special attractions that include Doges' Palace, a glass-blowing demonstration, the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Basilica, the Colosseum, Pisa Baptistery and Pisa Cathedral.
