Interurban makes investing in USAO students a priority

Interurban opened their doors in Chickasha in the Spring of 2013. Since then, it has been the go-to restaurant for many community members and out-of-town guests. Not only do they provide their customers with delicious food, but also give their support and loyalty to the local education systems, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma and Chickasha Public Schools.
Co-owner and startup entrepreneur Josh Woods gets asked often to contribute to many organizations in the community but he must prioritize his giving. His personal belief is that financially supporting the education of “our kids” and students at the university is a worthy cause.
Because Josh attended USAO for a short period himself, he knows first-hand the impact that is made by our unique mission, specialized core curriculum and small class sizes. Josh also sees and hears about this impact from his employees because the majority of them are students attending USAO.
When his employees have a university function or fundraiser, Interurban sends a little extra love their way. “A community has to take care of the community. No one else is going to do it,” said Josh.
For their continued support, USAO thanks Josh and Interurban. To learn more about how you can support the students and programs at USAO, go to https://usao.edu/giving.
