Summer Academy: “Where does our food come from and how did it get here?” targets students entering 8th or 9th grade interested in STEM topics and food. The Academy will follow the progress of food from the garden to the kitchen to the pantry for a rainy day. Attendees will learn the science behind the carbonation of root beer and bread, nutrients available in food, presence of genetically modified genes in snacks, trips to local farms and food processing plants, food-based games and movies as well as mentoring for high school and college.

The co-ed USAO Soccer residential camp at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, set this year from July 18-20th, is designed to provide intensive soccer training for overall player development.

Under the direction of Drover Softball Head Coach Jadyn Wallis, USAO athletics will host its fourth and final camp of the summer.
In its third year under Wallis, the USAO Softball Camp will take place on July 22 and 23 with two sessions separated by age.

The Nesbitt Gallery at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha announces a call for entries for a competitive exhibition of media for the fall and winter of 2015-2016 at USAO, Chickasha, the Charles B. Goddard Center, Ardmore, and the Museum of the Red River, Idabel.
