Political science students will fact-check issues surrounding the upcoming presidential election in a public forum scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 23 in the USAO Ballroom.
The event, titled Just the Facts: Election 2012, is a project designed and run by students participating in a political science class underway at the University of Science and Arts.
It is free and open to the public.
The forum will feature a series of questions that the audience will judge as either true or false, as indicated by hand-held signs. Teams of two or more students will offer evidence in the form of statements made by the candidates.
Subjects discussed will include the economy, foreign policy, healthcare and social issues.
