Interested in traveling to Greece next summer? Learn more about USAO's upcoming study abroad trip to Greece! An informational meeting will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 27 in Davis Hall, Rm 120 at 7 p.m. USAO students, staff, faculty, alumni and community members are invited on the trip!

The 12 day adventure will include 10 nights of accommodation; all ground transportation; walking tours & orientation tours at each location led by a full-time guide; and some meals.

Dr. Richard Heinzl will serve as the keynote speaker for the ninth annual Ray, Mary & Nita Giles Symposium on Oct. 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Te Ata Memorial Auditorium.

Dr. Richard Heinzl is the founder of Doctors Without Borders Canada, the first North American chapter of the Nobel Peace Prize-winning organization that has inspired a movement among medical professionals to help the world's most vulnerable populations.

The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma will present a one-day unique learning experience, The Festival of Arts and Ideas, on Monday, October 10. Beginning at 7 p.m. in the USAO Ballroom, USAO students and faculty from diverse fields of study will come together to explore this year’s theme “What Makes Us Laugh?” through engaging performances and discussions.

USAO's annual Montmartre, a judged sidewalk chalk art festival, is held each year in conjunction with the USAO Scholastic Meet and Droverstock Music Festival on the first Thursday of April. Together, the events make up the Spring Triad.
